Hello fellow cat worshippers.
Picked up my new RCZ GT HDI in charcoal this morning. What a quiet engine and how muscular yet beautiful it is in the flesh. Hadn't sat in or driven in one until I picked it up! Other half works for Peugeot UK and kept telling me how nice it was. I worked for one of Peugeot's factory owned dealerships in sales when the factory still existed in the UK and missed the days of cars like the 205/309GTI and thought Peugeot risked becoming bland and almost mundane and even risk adverse in their designs! How wrong was I. Very exiting new technology and designs and maybe Peugeot will feature at the fore with it's rolling out of it's hybrid technology.
Fun to drive, individual and smiles by the mile, perhaps a return to fun motoring for the Marque?
Shame I missed the party at Pinley HQ but would have been a busman's holiday/day out for the other half anyway!!

Welcome to the growing 'litter' of cat lovers Fuzzy
How brave are you to buy a new car without driving one - my OH does it but I've never had the priviledge of owning a new car  until next Friday that is, when I pick up red HDi

Hi Pug lovers

Even if it drove like a bag of nails the design was so sublime that I could overlook any driving faults(minor?), thankfully it drives better than I was hoping and the engine is a peach...and it helps keep my other half in a job working for PSA Peugeot(at least that's how I justify the purchase!!!!!! ) Love the toy like bluetooth phone connection parking sensors, spoiler, etc., etc. what a step up for Peugeot. Now I'm buying accessories and plenty of polish to amuse myself and waste all my spare time on her...the kids are even thinking of a suitable name for her!
Drove to work this morning and as I pulled into the driveway into work a Mercedes following too close behind followed me in and a 2nd car following that one drove into the side of the Merc pushing back down the road....Phew :wtf: utter relief it wasn't me then uncontrolled laughter it wasn't me and my car

Welcome to the forum Fuzzy.

Sounds like another excited RCZ owner.

I hadn't driven a RCZ before I got mine either. I ordered before they were launched and declined a test drive as Nothing was going to change my mind on such a gorgeous car. It's the first time I'd done that and my OH thought I was stark raving bonkers :eusa-whistle:

I couldn't be without my sensors at the moment - I was used to driving 207 and the RCZ is so much wider. Surely in time I'll be able to turn them off.
