I'm being utterly judgemental I realise but, judging by the decals, I suspect they were likely to have been racing one another and showing off. Wouldn't fancy their insurance premiums now...!!!

The insurance premium most likely wouldn't have been affected that much. This type of claim is often removed when calculating a fleet risk as they wouldn't happen that often.

It was a Supercar or Lamborghini event taking place in the city i believe, hence the stickers.
