Hi fellow rcz owners.
Got a problem with my 2012 2.0 Diesel rcz. After starting the car,in about 5 seconds the temperature gauge goes all the way to red and the STOP warning is displayed on the dash.
Obviously the car is not overheating, and my mechanic who looks after it has replaced both sensors but to no avail.
Anyone got any suggestions as to what the problem might be. Thinking it could be a wiring issue.
Cheers Steve.

Sensor 1 or 2 is faulty or its the wiring at fault the ECU is triggering the stop sign as its not getting the correct data from the sensor's
I actually remember replacing a brand new temp sensor on a 207cc for someone as the 1st one was a dud from a dealers!

Thanks Pedro. Both sensors were replaced but the fault is still showing. Initially, the warning would come on after about 5 minutes, but whenever I came to a stop, the temperature gauge would return to normal. My mechanic has had a look at the wiring and it looks like someone has been in about it previously. Trying to get hold of a wiring diagram to try and solve this problem. 🤔
