Thanks guys, will be getting some of them.

Private plate is almost a must on such an individual car, my problem is which one do I use?

Might start rotating, just got a 15 plate R to go with my 15 number plate, mush cheaper the other way round though !!!

Anyone going to Derbyshire meet tomorrow?

Ha,, depends on the plate,, i saw some "lottery winners" only ones whilst looking ;-) Bagged myself a Northern Ireland format one,, RCZ then 4 digits,, bit cheesy but i'm happy with it :)

Number plate dyslexia,, i like it :) Maybe you could rebadge the car to match the plate,, for all those motoring non-enthusiasts out there that don't know about makes, or models,,, or cars :)
And yeah,, pleased with the stripe,, totally transforms the look of the car,, they come in a multitude of colours,, should have been brave and gone for bright yellow or something :)
I spent most of today trying not to get third degree burns from the seats,, although i feel i've "branded" the gear knob sequence into my palm,, and the footwell lights subliminally made it feel a lot hottdr in there than it was,, should have opted for the cool blue leds :)

Just a quick update,, installed the K&N air filter yesterday,, easy job on the HDI engine,, no fiddly bits or tight gaps to worry about,, can't say i've noticed a massive difference but only bad the remap done a week ago so still getting used to how responsive the car feels from that. Also new V5 document turned uo so the private plate can go on,, and a little pressie of a new gear knob as the original was a little scratched over the metal insert :) Next job is in just over a weeks time when the roof, wing mirrors and grill badge go for their wrap :) While i'm on the subject,, i wouldn't mind the roof arches wrapped to but keep them metallic,, anyone on here had any experience about metallic wraps,, whats available etc?? Quite fancy the same kind of colour but with a blueish tinge,, or some that may change colour in different lights maybe. Feel free to post pics if anyone has any :)

I'm loving the sill cover , question do they fit over the existing sill plate ?

Just realised my thumb is in the pic,, apologies for that :) But yes,, they come with 3M tape all along the back and just stick directly over the existing Peugeot sills. Although they cover much more than the existing inserts.
Another ebay special :)

Well,, the lightening of the wallet continues,, just ordered a Sony double din which should arrive at the end of the week,, plus the patch leads/adaptors/fascia kit needed for the install,, installed a similiar JVC unit to my previous car which seemed to all go ok so hopefully the same will be said for the RCZ. I know with the steering wheel adaptor i should retain the steering controls/clock display etc,, anyone know if the parking sensors still show up there?? Fingers crossed they do :)

The wrap has gone on :) Can honestly say i'm really pleased with the result,, it does transform the looks but not too much. Was worried the carbon was going to be too matte instead of glossy but it's somewhere in between. The biggest thumbs up is on the grill badge,, the black surround was quite scratched and uneven coloured but now its in carbon it looks 100% better. Thanks to the guys at South West Tinting for doing a top job. Hope you guys like? Sorry about the dodgy parking :)
