Hi all, picked up my 2012 Dolphin Blue RCZ this morning so looking forwards to looking around and seeing what mods might be doable over the next few months.
It came with the quad exhausts and i've purchased some RCZ decals to run along the sides.
Hopefully mooching around on here i might get inspiration :)

Thanks all,, tempted to get a remap done as one the first mods,, anyone have any input on whether it's worthwhile or not?

Hi yes I've recently had a remap on my 156, gone for the stage 1 map which increases performance with a slight gain in fuel economy and I can tell you it's well worth the money the difference is noticeable immediately quicker pick up and smooth strong linear power through all gears. And economy well on average I would get around 32-36 mpg and after the remap 41mpg average!
Well happy
Just get a reputable firm to do it. The ECU will need to be removed to do the remap not as extreme as it sounds.

Sounds good,, there is a specialist about a mile from where i live that seem pretty professional,, forgot to mention i have the 2.0 HDI model,, so pretty economical anyway,, but if i can squeeze a few more miles to a tank and up the horses a little bit i'll be happy.
Have a K&N filter to go in at the same time so hopefully i'll notice the difference :)

Yes, but what do they say on the L'Oréal ads, it's because they're worth it

Hi there, anyone know why the RCZ R style gear knob is not suitable on the 2.0 HDI model,, or am i missing something?? # very puzzled!

Well,, the RCZ went in for an engine re map yesterday and even having owned the car for a short period of time i can honestly say the differance was noticable immediately. Every gear seems more responsive on the acceleration, powering through the range with ease. I dropped the car off with some trepidation,, i've never been at ease with having this kind of work done, but the guys at P & P Auto Services put me at ease immediately,, phoning throughout the day to let me know how they were doing,, so a big shout out to them. Anyone in Somerset thinking of having the same kind of work done, look them up. Footwell lighting kit going in today and side decals going on tomorrow,, pics to follow. Plus already booked in to have the roof and wing mirrors wrapped,, not til the end of the month though. Luckily i get payed before then :D

It seemed like such a deal for me when i dropoed the car off, but the guys down there do 2 or 3 everyday so i feel like it was a lot of worry for nothing. I can relax and reap the reward from it now though :)

Welcome to the site Andy.

Look forward to seeing the mods done and reading all about it ... on here.

Dolphin blue is one of my fave colours on the RCZ apart from Moroccan Red, White, Black, Grey, Brown ........

Some economy figures as you go along to keep the mathematicians happy will be welcomed.

Have fun driving the Z and watch your license, flash flash oops. !

Yep,, is it blue?? Is it grey?? Is it bluey-grey?? :) I dont think they make the RCZ in a colour that doesn't look good,, or maybe it's just the car that makes any colour look good? I've done about 130 miles in it over the last few weeks of rush hour in town crawling and it's hovering about 40,, tripped it when the remap was done and i'm showing just under 45 for the same kinda driving,, seems pretty optimistic but i won't complain :) Will try and post a few pics of todays efforts.

Well,, the stripes are on,, looks ok, even if i do say so myself :) Excuse the surroundings,, the delights of a multi storey car park. Also footwell lighting kit fitted,, opted for the orange glow,, in keeping with the dash lights,, and i have to say it looks a little hellish in there ;-) Last lic is one of the little details,, bloody sun kept getting in the way though.
More to follow soon.

That looks mint Andy, it is Dolphin Blue I had a 200GT with the feline pack, that gave you quads and chrome mesh grill, i loved it. Where did you get the lock surrounds? will have to be having some of them me thinks.
Don't know that I could park in a multi storey unless it was sideways parking !!
Decals same as on my old z, in my opinion they give it some more character.
