I have to say that I'm quite pleased with an ICT vs Falkirk final. It's nice to see a smaller team in with a chance to win some silverware.

I would suggest that the shafting was all done by themselves!! Excessive spending (remember this £12 million signing)
and poor financial management put them where they are now and yet they've still failed to learn their lesson by paying extravagant wages to higher quality players to attract them to the lower leagues.

They're on the periphery of folding and, as you say, the attendances are pitiful. Think that it's only a matter of time until this club is no more.

On the plus side, my team are going to have another foray into Europe and have given Celtic something to worry the entire season. Next year could very well be our year!!

Where about do you stay in Scotland are you up north

Me? I'm in Aberdeen. Not as northernly as you! Are you an ICT man? They're a great family club and I have enjoyed many a game at the Tulloch and the bonus feature of being able to occasionally see dolphins when the game is poor!

As u say there close to going belly up again. Can't understand why the attendances are so bad u'd think everybody would get galvanised behind them. When my Spurs got relegated in the 70's there support went up times of adversity shows up ur true fan base ;)

Couldn't agree more Mac and this is furthers the belief of many Scottish football fans that many Rangers fans were only offering support while they were winning things and challenging at the top!

This hilarious vine filmed earlier in the season in a game against Alloa shows exactly how far they've fallen!! Also note the vast expanses of empty seats!!

As a Rangers fan myself I totally agree with what's been said before. I think most fans are reluctant to give the old board any further money to line their own pockets but I guess time will tell. Have to admit I did get out of my chair when Caley scored their third in extra time although my better half was not best pleased as she supports the 'tic  It should be a good final but as I come originally from Grangemouth (now live in Glasgow) I will be supporting Falkirk but hoping it will be close game.

Yes indeed I agree. Should Caley not have had a penalty themselves in extra time when the second Celtic keeper took the Caley player out the game  Only my opinion of course

I suspect that you're totally wrong there Wrapper. Your promotion is no way assured even at this point in the season and have frequently struggled at Championship level.
We, however, have strengthened our squad and committed some of the best Scottish on long term contracts, we are in no debt and have created a strong platform to build on in successive seasons.

Dundee United did some terrible business in the January window but they are a really decent side, as are many of the others in the league Raith Rovers, ICT etc.

I think that you're living in the past mate. If you did get promoted, you'll overspend and seek quick glory that will ultimately prove to bring nothing but liquidation and the end of Newco (#footballniggle).

No mate, there are only 2 clubs in Scotland and both from Glasgow im afraid..it was always thus and will always be for the future..You all looked for the demise of Rangers..and even to the point of messing up the Premier status. We are now coming back, have served the time, and have helped the lowers on our way back to where we will always belong..Dreamers beware as its all going to where it belongs. The 2 Glasgow clubs, and the Glasgow Rangers back to claim their rightful place.1872 till present.WE ARE THE PEOPLE.

I did niggle you but, again, that football song lyric that you quote is everything that is wrong with the Old Firm.

How exactly did you "help the lowers"?! You brought low crowd attendances and no real money!!

Aberdeen have historically challenged and won at a far higher level than Rangers ever did. The old firm clubs should have a far bigger support base because they come from one of the most densely populated cities in the country. That's it.

I'll say no more on it...but I'll remind you of your remarks this time next season. ;)
