The dealer has written to me today asking if I want supaguard applied to my RCZ; it costs £199. Has anyone else gone for this option, is it worth it? :eusa-think: Any advice would be appreciated!

Personally I would not go for it. I had it applied to my last car when I bought it but I soon removed it. Its all down to the preparation of the paintwork being thoroughly cleaned, removal of all water spots, contaminants, etc before the Supaguard is applied. If this is not done properly then it shows up all the imperfections, which is why I removed it on my car.
I would personally spend the money on getting a professional detailer to prepare your car for you, which will look better than the car would with the Supaguard and also be better protected against the elements.
At the end of the day its down to you. Do you look after your cars? Do you regular clean / polish / wax it? If the answer to these questions is no, then Supaguard might well be the thing for you. Its your choice :!:

The kit costs them about £35 to £75 So you do the maths. RCZ1 is right the preparation is key and if your lazy like me it can be a good base for the other waxes etc you can apply afterwards for extra protection.

spend your money on quality wax and not leave it in the hands of dealer.or as said above use a professional detailer

Thanks guys - I think I'm gonna give supaguard a miss and put a bit of effort into applying some wax coats myself! :thumbup:
