Hi could some kind person explain to me about the spoiler?
I (a) didn't know I had one, (b) thought it was purely decorative when I did find out.
I've been surfing posts and I suspect there's a lot more to it!
Thanks!
Hi Oakville.
The spoiler is part decorative and part needed, it operates automatically at around 54 mph to what we call first stage, does'nt really do anything except for show, it will return to normal when you drop below 30 mph, when you do decide to give it some right foot, on a private road or track :wtf:

 the spoiler will lift to the second stage at 97 mph, dropping back to stage one below 90 mph, this is required to keep the back end down or else we would end up in the same state as Audi when the first TT came out off the road  .
There are people who like to use the manual button in the car and leave it up all the time, please remember the spoiler will not go down automatically when you switch the engine off so it's exposed to little fingers and with only being plastic I suspect they will not last long.
I hope this helps a bit. :eusa-think:
Thanks
Rob
