Hi,Michael here been driving my white/black roof RCZ R petrol 270bhp for 3 years from new,I have been trying to get a spare wheel kit without paying an extortionate amount of money, since I had a puncture which fortunately could be fixed without the repair fluid kit,I realised I would feel better with a spare wheel kit,I have tried various places with no luck,is there anybody out there who has one and could direct me as to where to order one, thanks.

Hi and welcome, if your looking for a matching R wheel then the cheapest option would be a breakers but the R is as rare as hens teeth so it’s going to be lucky to drop on one. Remember that the R has 9” wide rims and the other 19” RCZ alloys are 8.5” so they would catch the front callipers on the R so not an option as a spare.

Have you tried a good breakers yard as they are quite good worth doing a few phone calls

You can use a 407 space saver wheel, use the search on here as there are many posts.

But if the front was punctured you would have to take the rear off and fit the space saver, the remove the front and put the rear on the front.

Bit more work but probably worth it.

What about this option?so the R wheels are 1/2” wider to accommodate the front calipers what about using a standard RCZ alloy as a spare and carry a 15mm spacer to use on the front if needed? Not tried this but I reckon it would work but you would also need to carry 5 extra long bolts. :eusa-think:
