Can you turn off the soundbox?

I hope anyone can tell me how I (or my Peugeot service center) can turn off the soundbox on my Peugeot RCZ.
After 3 years the sound is getting really anoying.

I hope someone can advise.

No way to turn it off.

Only way is to remove it,
