Hey people, only ever made a few posts on here myself but like to see what everyone else has to say.

I currently have a mk1 dolphin blue gt 200 which I've had for 3 years, and enjoyed every minute of it. The car itself is just over 4 years old and I've been looking around for a replacement.

After trawling the tinternet and a number of garages I've finally ordered a brand new car, which is ........ Wait for it........ An RCZR :happy-wavemulticolor: Red with the addition of front sensors (parking at work is appalling, wouldn't want to scratch it)

I can't wait (10-12 weeks :-?), whilst I was re mortgaging I thought I'd get a private plate as well, so one very happy woman :auto-car:

You wont go far wrong with an RCZ R, have found that I dont really need the front parking sensors as I usually just reverse into parking spaces so have not missed them.
I also find that my "R" loves Shell V power, never tried her on the normal stuff (which you can run the car on but that sort of defeats having a performance car and shoving the cheap stuff in).
Just watch out for the alloys, you dont want to scrape them, forged and definately not cheap to fix/replace :(

I too was quoted 10/12 weeks arrived in 14 weeks the wait is a killer, I hope you have ordered 4 cones to put around the car you wouldn't want anyone parking too close ;)

Quite often do several laps of a car park to not park near anyone or try to get an end spot.So far so good .( or park next to another RCZ on the rare occasion I see one )

Just park it in 2 spaces - you're worth it! :D

Lol, I do try and park on the end of a row, but if you can imagine 300 cars trying to squeeze into 200 spaces, that may give you some idea of the parking situation

On the first day I took my current RCZ :-D to work I was reversed into on my way out, it is nightmarish (no damage fortunately).

Anyone know where you can get large amounts of bubble wrap :helpme:

Ditto all of the above, definitely recommend some form of paint protection on a red car. I have had mine Supagarded and am very pleased with the results. Compared to a 200 the performance and handling composure are definitely a step up . I have seen five RCZs today going to and from work and I still stare at them ! A shame Peugeot looks like stopping them this year as the engines won' t meet Euro 6 standards and the new boss does not like models which lose money. Have fun.
