First thing will be to get a jig made up so it can be replicated.

Then Ill try get a decent model made up on CAD..

This could be just the little project I need to keep me out of the Fiances way in the run up to the wedding : :D

If you still have the original exhaust, you will need to cut that one off before you can install the new one.
Peugeot have marked on the exhaust pipe the point where you need to cut it.

Ok, so it will be a cut and shut job. I Have a second rear valance from the scrappy so I would be hoping to try the Ruffer out for a while but have the option to go back to the standard pipe and single exit if its not to my taste.

How loud is it when on the motorways etc?

I don't like a car when it's to loud and this for me a good level

Figo, are you fitting it yourself or taking it to a garage ?

If your doing it yourself you will struggle unless you have a ramp or a lift of some description.

if I need to cut the existing exhaust then it will be into a garage unfortunately.

The package is still in the car.. I have man flu and as such i am acting like the world has ended and stayed in and watched the football in a robe and slippers so Ruffer Exhaust shenanigans have been put aside today

Jeez MAN FLU is the local hospital on stand by. Make sure the wife has them on speed dial. I know how dangerous it can be ;-))

Any way yes you will have to cut the exhaust. Best way is to drop the back box off the 2 hangers, there is a small dimple on the exhaust which is where you need to cut it. Because of where it is, is why I suggested you need a ramp.

Back box dropped down .....

Position where you make the cut .......

Good luck and if you want to know anything else about how mine went let me know.

The standard tail piece is mounted to a bracket which is attached to both the rear bumper and the valance. You need to remove the 6 small bolt which hold the tail pipes on and remove them then remove the bracket itself. This is not so easy as the bumper plastic tabs are heat stacked (melted over) so you have to snap them off when you pull the bracket off.

Once you've done that it's a simple case of pulling the valance to the rear as it's only then held on by clips. It helps to eas the clips out from inside the rear bumper as you either push or someone else pulls the valance out.

Refitting is just tapping the valance back on with a rubber mallet. I didn't bother with the metal clamp as it is no longer needed. HTH
