Should I be worried?.

Hi guys.
I picked up my lovely new RCZ today (pics to follow) but have a bit of a concern.

I had a good run in my new car after picking it up, I didn't push it, just took my time and enjoyed my gorgeous new car.

My concern is that after use (both short and longer journeys) it smells real bad. Is this burning smell just because it's new or could it be something more concerning.....

What do you think guys?

From memory don't you have the HDi? I'm thinking Regeneration or what ever they call it. Ie burning off the soot, cleaning out the DPF?

Dont panic Andy just give the dealer a phone and vent your worries by memory i had a bit of heated engine smell as well when new as all new cars do the rcz engine runs pretty hot due to the turbocharger right at the front of the engine :)

Good to hear that it's "normal" this Burning Smell :wtf:

Can't say that I had any Burning Smell with my RCZ (HDi) - or indeed ANY new car that I've ever had.

As above though, glad to hear it's normal

I have the HDI model and had the smell of burning rubber the first few days, then it cleared off.
