Servicing costs

Hi guys
60k on a 2010 plate 156 looking to get the car serviced in the next 4 wks is it worth getting Peugeot to do it due to getting software updates etc. also has anyone paid for a service lately and could tell me how much ? TIA

I used to get my usual, local mechanic to service my RCZ, and I'll be doing the same with my GT86. Both are simple cars, so no specialist equipment needed.

At a certain age you gain nothing from paying through the nose for a "Main dealer service history"

Also, what software updates are you expecting? If it's nav, download it and do it yourself.

Peugeot offer fixed price servicing. Minor & major, details all on the Peugeot site.

You'll unlikely get Sat Nav updates as part of the service. I think updates relate to the ECU which I don't think there are any... Could be wrong?

My Z is 7 years old and on 35k and for now let Peugeot do all the servicing. Eventually I'll do it myself.

There is an ecu update relating to some 2010 cars relating to the turbo coolant pump which may also need replacement depending on the results of the ecu update call the dealers give them your vin and see if this affects your car this work is done foc, but it’s not a recall :eusa-think: my car flagged this up but I declined the work due to me having had my ecu remapped and thus would have screwed this up.

Mine is still on a service contract so it does go to main dealers but I’ve no idea what the charges are. :eusa-think:
