Hi,

Got a 40,000 mile service due and looking for somewhere book it in in or near Nottingham. My Z is a 61 plate so just out of warranty. Am I best to still go to the local dealers or a decent specialist? - there's one near Leicester I believe.

Dealers quoted me £195 for Peugeot approved parts and £250 for OE. They said I may need coolant and brake fluid change for an extra £100 - how would I know if I do? doesn't say on previous service they were done. Specialist says £250.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Brake fluid testers and antifreeze testers are quite inexpensive and they work well. Certainly the antifreeze is very easy to get back to spec by removing a little and topping up with neat antifreeze. Peugeot's prices for these two jobs are very high in my opinion. Cheers. Bruce.
