Seatbelt light on overhead panel

Anybody had one of the red Overhead lights not light up when the seat belt is not being used. I have tried clipping the belt in and out but it just will not light when it is suppose to. The seat belt clip must have an internal switch to sense when the belt is fitted, which must mean a cable under the seat.. Or the Red LED in the overhead binnacle is blown.. Either way my R is now 3 weeks out of warranty.. Lets see if the extended will pick it up. Any ideas people.

So close to warranty period, I would ask the question, I think you'll find they will cover it even if it's not included in the extended warranty, I think they will likely at least cover the cost of parts required. It is certainly worth asking anyway :eusa-think:
