Hi Just joined the forum. Took her for a service today, scrapped the wing mirror on the tiny entrance to the garage. What's best for fixing. It doesn't need filling. I've been looking at Paint nuts. Don't know if the casing of the wing mirror is metal or plastic, anyone? tried to look it up but only found mirrors for sale...... Diane

It’s plastic. My experience of paintnuts is good in terms of colour matching. The touch up brush small thing usually works the best for me at least.

I spray painted one of mine and the result was bad

The only good solution for me is to dismantle the plastics and take them to a professional.

There are two plastic parts, the ring and the housing, after separating the mirror you only have to remove a few torx screws

Pull the mirror from below only with your fingers, do not use levers that can damage the motor.

There's actually a really good video on YouTube about how to remove the mirror casings. Just search accordingly.
