Fiancee has scraped the bumper on a concrete bollard, its a metallic black rcz and now has big white scratches on it.

Chips Away want £164 to repair....

Is there a kit i can buy to do it myself or does anyone know of a cheaper option in Cheshire / Stoke area?

Thanks

To be fair, looking at the damage, I think the quote is quite reasonable :eusa-think:

You could try, with some elbow grease, Applying a scratch removal paste. You might find the white may come off, but obviously the plastic will still be damaged.

So as above unless you want to spend hours faffing (I probably would because A I'm tight, and B have a shed full of compounds, paints and polishing machines) it might be worth getting a quote from some body shops.

If you can feel the scratches with your nail when you run your finger over the scratches, they won’t polish out. The price seems good to me. I would go with that.

Tell your fiancée you'll be downgrading the honeymoon to pay for it!
