so this was the result of someone driving head on into the wife today, both her and my 6 year old lad were in the front and are both fine.

seven airbags deployed and im pretty sure its a write off but goes to show just how safe cars are nowadays.

Jaysus!! So pleased to hear that your wife son emerged unscathed!! It's worrying quite how many accidents routinely occur on our roads these days!! I hope that the other party has admitted liability!

Nasty. I'm glad to hear your family is safe & I hope they're not too stiff in the morning. Sometimes it takes a few hours for some of the effects to come out.

Give them our best regards and take it easy over the weekend.

Lovely though they are, RCZs can be replaced.

Your wife and children are unique.

they are both fine and the other party admitted responsibility 100% while the police were in attendance. the wife has also had a text from his insurance company confirming this already.

Thank god the car was made well even though i couldnt give a stuff about the car as its a bit of metal and can be replaced.

one thing the wife is sure of is that after such a heavy impact and the fact both her and the lad are ok (he was on his booster seat in the front) she is defiantly getting another 3008

Hi All

1st and foremost as previously stated glad both occupants were ok and agree no matter how much you like \ love a car its a collection of metal glass and plastic and can be replaced.... my better half had a seemingly minor rear end shunt in the summer of 2013 and only recently got to the bottom of a neck \ shoulder issue she got as a result and needs an op to grind some bone away from a damaged \ swollen tendon later this month which sounds less than pleasant so well aware that the human element is more difficult to put right

As a matter of interest does anyone know what the crash test ratings are for the Z having just had a quick trawl round the net I'm struggling to find a test result with a couple of sites saying it hasn't been tested which I don't believe as I think its a legal requirement these days mines the face lift model

Any Ideas?
