Gave Ruby a wash yesterday and when I lifted the bonnet I discovered that the Sahara Desert had relocated to my engine bay
So I set to detailing the engine bay with 303 Aerospace Protectant and a detailing brush. This was sprayed all over the engine bay and left overnight (a total of 17 hours - it doesn't have to be as long as that!). The residue was then buffed off with a clean cloth.
The metal bits were polished up with the Britemax Twins and wiped down with a clean cloth when hazed.
The black trim was protected with Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator.
The underside of the bonnet and all paint surfaces has been protected with Werkstat Jett Trigger.
