Roof bars vynal wrap

I'm thinking of getting or doing myself the aluminium roof bars coverd in carbon look vynal is this a job somebody has attempted them self, or is it best to get a professional for best results, ive had a little experience wrapping interior trim bits but nothing as large as the roof bars, any do's or dont's would be helpful thanks.

I'm not going to attempt my self as I don't have any where undercover to do a good job so I'm in the process of looking for someone in the Swansea area to do the job for me. :crazy:
