Replacing Internal HDD on NG4 3D?

Does anyone can tell if it's possible to replace the internal HDD in the NG4 3D for a bigger capacity one?
Today I was checking the unit and it's quite easy to access. I know the hard drive is IDE, shame as I can't stick a SSD.

If you can ghost the software onto the new drive I dont see why not.

There may be a limit as to the size the system software can recognise? Usually though in that case, if the system can work with up to say 1Tb and you put in a 2Tb you would simply get 1Tb showing.

I had read in somewhere that it is not possible, but I have no sure about that. I saw a long time ago that the best option is to swap the ide disc with one compact flash card.
