removing gear stick gator and surround.

evening all.
ii wish to remove the piano black ring around the gear stick, i presume it would start with removing the gator. any ideas welcome.

The piano black bit is just clipped in. This needs removing first as the gaitor is attached to it. Just get some leverage under it and give it a pull

If you remove the rubber mat from under the ashtray, you can get your fingers to the back side and gently prise upwards.
