Hi there,

Just got my Z just 2 weeks ago... super excited!

Anyway, I want to install a dashcam and run the wires within the A pillar and glove compartment. Can anyone tell me how the A pillar trim and glove compartment trims can be removed?

Diagrams or service manual scans would be fantastic.

I found one post in the forum regarding a more detailed front / back camera install but it was scant on information about how to actually remove the trims.

Want to be very sure before I pry things off at the wrong angle and start breakin tabs.

Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Check this video. It's about installing a new stereo in a 308 but it shows what you need to know. Same principle I believe:

Brilliant. That's exactly what I needed.

I've had Toytotas all my life and got to know how they put their parts together (a 10mm and 12mm can basically unbolt the whole car)

New to this Peugeot game... it's been fun so far!

First mod I've already done : Filed down the OBD2 socket housing so it's easier to plug / unplug. ;)

Its also worth remembering that a thin lead from the dashcam can be tucked behind the trim, use a wood stirrer (available at any high street Coffee shop).

Saves breaking the small tabs that hold everything in place.

I fitted front and rear dash cams, I managed without removing any trims. No wires visible

Yep me too I have my dash cam just under the rear view mirror and just tucked the cable under all the Trims right down to the auxiliary socket no trims removed.

Have a look at a post i did a while ago.

The A pillar just comes off with a gentle pet with fingers.

I'm trying to think of a gentle pet with fingers now... a sloth? 🤔

Don’t fish have fingers? I have seen boxes of them in the supermarket 🤔🤣
