remove front badge

Hi guys does anyone no how to remove the front badge and the black panel with the chrome strip around it completely off

Hi guys does anyone no how to remove the front badge and the black panel with the chrome strip around it completely off

The lion emblem is held in place with double sided tape,gently heat up using a hairdryer and use a flat tool to lift up and remove,do not slide tool straight under as there is plastic guide pins behind the emblem that sit in the surround. Chrome strip is secured with screws and for that you have to remove the bumper.

Had the whole surround taken out on mine and welded in the recess however removing the badge and chrome strip then adding sheet metal or fibreglassing the recess would have been easier.

I ended up painting the badge on one of ours on the car. Couldn't believe it was a bumper off job just for a badge removal.
