Hi,
Is the Dash and Door cards on the red carbon vinyl or leather the same as the seats as I want to treat them just unsure what with. The leather seats will be done with L1 and the carpets with I1 from Gtechniq.

Cheers

It's faux leather unless you specced it with "integral leather".

I use my Furniture Clinic leather cleaner and protector on the faux leather as well as my seats and it protects it well. I also use Auto Finesse Spritz on the faux leather dash and door cards too from time to time as you can use this on all the interior plastics and it leaves a nice satin finish and smells of lovely vanilla.

Well done Kerry. I got mine second hand, and was told it was leather, so I assumed they were all leather inside if they had leather seats. I wasn't aware it must have been specced integral leather.

That's exactly what the forum is all about, sharing knowledge & advice.

I look like getting some Auto finesse Spritz, cos I love the smell of Vanilla ;)

Thanks for the replies have used the L1 on the dashboard and door cards and it appears to have worked okay as nothing dissolved or fell apart :D

Only good auto specific leather detaioing products will include UV protection. Also, never use lanolin or other organic products that can induce leather rot & degradation.

Which is why I used Gtechniq L1 as it is a UV protector and also prevents dye transfer from jeans, etc to the leather.
