Hi all,

Does anyone have a good side on picture of black wheels with red calipers. Trying to convince the wife she wants them painting but she thinks std silver is better :eusa-think:

I've searched as many photo threads as I can cope with but can't find one. Mine has 19" Black Sortilege alloys.

Thanks

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your replies. The covers do look pretty good on the photos and from a distance I'm sure are pretty convincing. However I can't help but think standing next to the car it would be obvious they are stick on covers.

I think I'm going to try painting mine first as well as the hub part of the brake discs (but these will be black to match the wheels) and see how it goes.

19" wheels are great, but they don't half show up the poor quality factory materials used on the discs and calipers !!!

Hoi Kev

seems very nice.
Do you know the brand ?
I see that you need between 1 and 2 cm of space between the caliper and wheel.
I have 19" wheels and I don't have 2 cm of space.

BTW I'm driving a 1.6 version not a GT so I don't know if there is a difference.

Thanks for your reply.

Hoi,

did you need to modify the covers.
Because in some posts I read that they had to cut some of the plastic.

Thanks (again) for your reply.

Hmm... tempted! My calipers and hubs are rusted to buggery and need sorting out. Was going to paint 'em (will still do so with the hubs) but these would look pretty sweet by the photos above!

Can anyone verify if these will fit the 2.0 HDi with 19" Sortilege wheels as they have the bigger brakes as per the 200s?

Cheers all! :D

There are two different brake systems on the RCZ for the front (excluding the RCZ R) - Standard and Sport (rears are the same on all RCZ's). You can tell the difference easily if you are not into measuring - Sport has a shield behind the disc. Check out this and other information about the brakes here:

http://rczperformance.com/BrakesandSuspension.html

Standard brakes do look really small with 19"+ wheels.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me.

Even if your car came with 19's, it does not mean you have the Sport brakes.
