I am not a plugger of products and never have been ... BUT ...
These cheapo pen lights are just so handy and good.
I have bought loads and they are around the house and in outbuildings and in the cars.
They have the latest tech for lighting, being COB SMD LEDs.
That sounds very techy, but just takes the LED type illumination two steps further - surface mount means no lens, and chip on board has many diodes for a larger surface of light.
Our house is illuminated using the latest low energy LED including COB bulbs.
So I am well and truly sold on the technology.
I order via EBay from a Chinese source (aren't they all?) and buy the AAA batteries locally from the supermarket.
Whether illuminating under the bonnet or flagging down in an emergency, these tiny pen size lamps give off a huge amount of light and the batteries last for ages.
The clip is magnetic so that is handy.

Here is a link to a supply, with which I have absolutely no connection other than a satisfied customer.
Buy some, then some batteries, and keep them handy for when light matters.

[Ignore the "foldable" bit 'cos they don't, so don't understand what they are on about!]
