RECALL NOTICE

Hi all.

I'm not sure if this effects all RCZs, but I've just taken my 2014 THP200 GT to the garage and told that there had been a recall notice for my car.
Check and replace coolant temp sensor.

Well I'm sure that people are indeed appreciative Maveriksam but perhaps they're seeking clarification of the scope of this recall. Not every post will always be commented on though I'm afraid. Thanks for the info though bud. :thumbup:

Seem to have heard the same thing said about a year ago by someone else about a recall on coolant temp sensor. But nothing ever came of it well nobody on here got recall notices think there blowing smoke up ur know what

Just to say that your post probably got a lot of views and not so many initial replies as the much famed "engine/ coolant temp sensor" is always a crowd puller due to its regrettable notoriety in all guises of the Z' family ! :clap:

However, myself having read it and no doubt like many others thought "finally an acknowledgement" by Peugeot, albeit already having had mine replaced in a kind of manufacturer warranty manner after arming myself and quoting much of what I have read on the Forum I stood my ground via Customer Services and it was duly replaced ! :shock:

Posts such as Yours are appreciated even if like me the 'silent majority' do not make a typed response UNTIL NOW :beer:

Even if PEUGEOT are not man OR woman enough to make what they consider to be a shamed 'Official Recall' for the faulty component We Know That They Know The Truth ,,AND if challenged will hopefully do the right thing in respect of this cheap little yet much troublesome component ! (cheap meaning the cost of the sensor NOT their cost of diagnostic & fitting)
