My first mod.
I had the rear screen and back windows done today took the boys 3 hours and 3 attempts to get it right.
It was the first time they have done a RCZ and it proved to be the worst car they have ever done in 30 years of tinting cars.
Here are some before and after photos.

Matches the rest of the roof.

Careful with the fronts Tac, we had a Zafira when they first came out (lots of small kids then) and we had a full body kit and tints all round.

My wife was chased by a guy in what she thought was a police 4x4 who stopped her and told her the front windows were illegally tinted, and we had to have the tints removed. He turned out to be a traffic enforcement guy, and I reported him to his boss for overstepping the mark. He was reprimanded for chasing my wife, but we still had to remove the tints from the front drivers & passengers door windows, and they weren't even that dark!

Just a thought :eusa-think:

p.s. Car looks awesome

As long as your tints are you subtle you'll probably be ok. You can never predict for someone who's a little overzealous because they've got a little bit of power. Strictly speaking though, they are illegal but I suspect that you already realise this.

My other car a ford focus convertible had front tints done over 2 years ago *touches head never been pulled.
But then again the ones on the RCZ look darker yet they are the same tints.
Yes subtle is the way to go mrizzle so putting 30% over the already 30% should be about right

Your Focus looks very similar to the tints we had on the Zafira.
I actually got the manager of the little Hitler department to meet me (at a motorway service station car park unbelievably).
He looked at the car and said he thought it looked great, and when he pointed out that the legislation was in place so drivers view wasn't restricted, I invited him to look through both windows ( both doors shut )- looking through the car at a guy reading a newspaper in the car next to mine, and even through his also closed window, you could clearly see which paper he had. So that was through two tinted windows on my car & the factory tints on another car!
He then produced a calliper style machine which clamped onto the glass from both sides, and measured the light transmitted through. The car failed, so I had to remove my expensive tints.

When I also pointed out that the factory tinted screen looked slightly darker than the side windows I'd had done, he said he couldn't test that as he needed a window that opened to attach the machine, or could it be that the implications of failing a factory fitted screen wee far too massive for him to deal with.

He actually apologised as he left, for having to impose the law.

I.m now having my rear window tinted to match the rear sides i had done next week but i was informed legally the driver and passenger windows can only be tinted 30%. He then showed me the stamped etched 70% already on the windows on my Z. Therefore no more can legally be tinted. But then again i do have illegal personalised reg plates with a pug lion and lettering on the bottom lol.
