Rear seats

Hi there this is probably a stupid question but I've got a rcz 200bhp to test drive on Saturday , I definatly think I will buy it as long as it drives as good as it looks , my question is occasionally I might need to get my daughter in the back for short half hr journey she's 17 and only 5ft 2 and thin, is this doable ? Thanks for the reply m8 , my wife would be in the passenger seat , other thing , is there anything I should look out for on my test drive , any 200bhp engine problems ect

What age is the car? there are a few issues depending on the age

Okay. So you need to know if the door mirrors have been changed as they used to retain water and corrode. Timing belt issues and temperature sensor are all common issues. So you want to be asking if it has suffered these faults and been repaired or not. Check the state of the alloys as these can take a bashing. What extras has it got?

Hi I know about some of these issues u mentioned as I have a ds3 but mines a 110 deisel so I've had no problems , Iam buying from robin and day with full warranty ,service and check, and at 17000 mls on the clock if any defects were present at any point I would hope they'd have been sorted already , as for options I think it's fully loaded except sat nav

A good practice is not to assume but ask the question. That way if they say it has been sorted you can ask when?

Hi, my daughter is 19 and about 5'6" tall she regularly travels in the back seats of my RCZ and finds it quite bareable and we have done a couple of 80+ mile trips. She does sit at an angle with her legs over towards the second rear seat she does bang her head occasionally on the rear glass so be careful over speed humps!!
She also finds it easier to get out of the car backwards!

Hi All' :greetings-wavingblue: as for those that choose to place others and NOT themselves :eusa-shhh: in the rear to perch bent and doubled up on the "shopping bench" :helpme: behind the two luxurious and comfortable front seats in their prestigious Z's i'm speaking to you AND those that voiced support (you know who you are :wave: ) for such cruel treatment of passengers.

..in respect of rear passenger (VICTIMS) I wish to address the Chamber on their behalf. Please be advised of the "European Convention On Human Rights" `Article 3 - Prohibition Of Torture. The latter states:

"YOU HAVE THE ABSOLUTE RIGHT NOT TO BE TORTURED OR SUBJECTED TO TREATMENT OR PUNISHMENT WHICH IS INHUMANE OR DEGRADING" ..As you can see, rear perch passengers have rights too :clap: which you WILL contravene!
,,so why not simply put the kids in the boot as its far more accommodating ,,and quieter for the front seat passengers too! (sorry kids) !! :lol:

..CHEERS RCZ1 :thumbup: ,,the look of our Z's makes us Smile especially when detailed with your precision ,,and in my case Nail Varnish too in order to bring the onyx sortilinges' up like new! AND smile is what the Forum is about and it does for me whenever I can assist another member, share experience etc OR protect children from being contorted on the shopping bench in our beloved Z's under the provisions of Article 3. :crazy:

I think that there should be a prize for whoever turns up at the next Z' meet where ever it is with a passenger in the boot! ,,well its not like this back bencher is asking anyone to place a cat in a wheelie bin ,,thats been done already by a REAL MP & is as wrong as seeing a distressed little face looking out of the rear window of a Z' with comfortable adults in the front :thumbdown:

The only use that I have found for them is as a place to kneel in order to reach the rear window when it needs to be cleaned.

However as I typed my response I had another thought pop into my head. It prevents the RCZ being classed as a sports car and thus reduces our insurance premiums :clap:
