Rear head roll bar

Your opinions and ideas on this mod. Mounting rear head roll bars in the back window sill. Maybe from a mini cooper or something similar. I think it will complement the bubble window. Off course it won't be functional but just for looks.

Use a lot of imagination on the attached pic it was the best I could do using paint.

I dont think there is enough room on the "parcel shelf" for them to be noticeable at all and also the tinted rear window would also add to that.

You are probably right. I didn't go check if it would be possible to mount it in the limited space.

I think Abz made a good point and, although you referenced the MINI, I immediately thought of the TT!

If it was possible, and if they could be seen from outside, I think they might look quite cool, but I alas, I think therein lies the problem. :eusa-think:

look at it this way - a hot girl gets into your car and asks you "why do you have a roll bar in a hardtop with tinted glass" :helpme:
