OK, a few more pics and updated info for routing etc.

If anybody wants to see or know about anything else/specific just let me know.
There are lots of apps on the device, and functions as well.
A nice one is an overview when the unit starts up of the air con unit settings, fan speed etc.
The trip/computer info is displayed as well.

I will state that currently it is not 100% compatible (plug & play). I cannot get the phone function to work on the steering wheel controls. The buttons work in other screens, so it is not a connection issue. It just wont work as a dial/disconnect or scroll through contacts etc. Plus there is still that annoying ambience display.

Unfortunately it seems not. I would guess this is the closest you can get for now.

The ambience, and phone control problems I am sure are purely down to the CANBUS settings/firmware, so can still be modified by the manufacturer or modded by enthusiasts etc. :eusa-think:

Not mine, but basically what needs to be modded as it hooks into the loom/harness.

Just a pic showing the satellites app, as the GPS module is buried in the glovebox.

So you use your car as a daily driver, first thing this morning eh?
That looks a good system with nice graphics.
So what functionality don't you have now, is it the stalk controls?

Yep, daily driver.
The app showed my location very accurate using the long & lat (covered up). Not sure about the 0.1Km/h though :eusa-think:

Only thing not working (so far) is the stalk to control the telephone/calls, you just have to use the touch screen instead.
The most annoying though is the musical ambience box that shows when listening to music :wtf:

Hey you don't have to cover your long lat, we know where you live, using special software I can and have recovered your location data and can safely say that you live in the UK.
Told you !! LOL [THUMBS UP SIGN][FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]
Seriously though you'd be amazed at what can be recovered just from the exif data embedded in your picture. Users beware.

Yes useful for those but not so good for the hot sun and warm climate.

Hi Dale,

I can't really compare the resolution to anything, but it seems OK to me.
I didnt go the DAB route either.
The radio cuts out on the odd occasion when in dips/valleys but overall seems good.

Hi Okeystokey

What functionality did you lose fitting this kit? Any other problems you have found since fitting the radio?
