I agree with the comment about the Scirocco. It looks outdated. It's in dire need of a revamp I think.
Not particularly keen on the GT86. The design looked dated when it was first released. It's retro in its looks - but not for me.
I considered a few different cars when trying to fuel my desire for more speed. Astra GTC VXR, Mini Coupe John Works, Golf R to name but a few but for me at least, the design of the RCZ is still eyecatchingly beautiful. Therefore, combined with the power AND the looks - there was only ever going to be one winner. Remember I had never had the same car in succession prior to the RCZ. I'm now on my third. That tells you something about my enjoyment and enthusiasm for the RCZ.
The RCZ fits my needs perfectly. Large boot space for when I need it. Rear seats for additional load space should it be required. Fuel economy which is great for a car like this. Looks. Reasonable road tax and servicing costs. Plus it's not massed produced so don't see others for weeks on end.
I couldn't be happier with my choice
