RCZ1 - Moderator Status

I'd just like to officially announce that RCZ1 has decided to step down from the site moderating team. The eagle eye'd amongst you will have noticed her rank and signature change already but I've been out of the country with sporadic internet access so this is the first chance I've had to make it official.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank Kerry for all the hard work that she put in to get us here and look forward to her continuing contribution to the site as she enjoys being a regular member of the forum once more.

Many see a moderating role as some kind of elevation when in fact it can often be a chore that can take some of the enjoyment out of using a forum. Kerry has done a fantastic job and I wish her all the best as she takes a well deserved rest.

Just what I'm doing now young man

Just had a bit of a traumatic evening. On our hols at the moment and decided to go for a walk and take some photographs as the sun was going down. Found a lovely wild flower meadow with some great views. Busy clicking away as you do. Suddenly a mature gentlemen appeared exclaiming "what are you doing on my land?" "Taking photos" - fairly obvious one would have thought with a bloody great big 100-400 L lens on the camera. "This is private property" he exclaimed ! "We were told it's common ground" I replied. "Well it bloody isn't. So be off with you!" "Someone just rang me to tell me there were people wandering around in my field. We've had machinery stolen, etc so people are keeping their eyes open". Do I really look like I'm going to steal machinery??!!

He looked like he could get very nasty! I thought the Cornish were supposed to be friendly

He was probably off his face on scrumpy young lady sounds like the vino is well deserved and enjoy the rest of your hols :lol: we want to see photies when you get home though
