If his VAG is boring, I think he needs to find a new girlfriend

Seeing as you don't even have the common courtesy to introduce yourself or even say hello, without even backing up your statement with any past experience is just disrespectful. I strongly suggest you at least enlighten us with your problems so that it may benefit others in the future or purely and simply leave.

This has all gotten off to a rather poor start. We are all for people sharing their experiences but in a constructive manner. If the OP can do this and obey the Forum's Ts and Cs in the process (no further swear words) then hopefully a more constructive discussion can take place elsewhere. However, this thread will be locked for the aforementioned reasons. d3akx, please consider this for future posts or we will have no choice but to take stricter action.

Always nice to read of other owners experiences. Buying any second hand car has always had it's inherent risks. It sounds as though the reasons why your early model, low mileage purchase was such for a reason. Maybe Friday cars are still around.
