Good find and an interesting read

Have to agree with the Auto Express Verdict - in exactly that order.
The Honda is a bit of a has-been now (never was :eusa-think: ), while the C30 is.....well the less said the better.

Best quote of the article:

".....the 2.0 HDi model has the most power here....."

Yep, you'll find that's through the entire RCZ range as well matey  :eusa-whistle: ;) :Moony:

Shame about the colour of the RCZ vehicle used - really let's it down compared to the mean / moody coloured cars in the article.

Strange choices I thought. the CRZ - hard to pigeon hole really and just neither here or there. The Volvo - it's a shame about the back of it. Seems to me the designer ran out of ideas :eusa-think:

The more I see the Mini Coupe the more I dislike that roof. Just in general really I think Mini has gone over the top now.

I don't really take much notice of colour in tests to be honest :D

I always thought the amber red is the best colour. Certainly the most unique of the choices

For me, it was only ever going to be a choice between red or white .... and the wait for white was far too long!!

Swapsies??? :eusa-think:

hi chaps just back from sunny sharm el sheik  where i had this edition of autoexpress to read for my penance on the flight,my conclusion of this head to head of the four cars was that if the mini's suspension/handling/ride was that little bit more compliant the mini coupe would have won this.i really like this car it kinda grows on you just like all new Bmw's do,and also the mini cooperSD was pitted against the Rcz sport version although the photos show it in gt form you can fully load the mini coupe SD for the same price as the rcz gt diesel.

My summation of this shoot out was also that if the honda had more oomph and slightly better handling it would have been up there as well the Mugen crz should sort this out.

The biggest barebug of the rcz is it kerb weight  power to weight ratios need to be increased in the rcz ie more bhp please Mr peugeot

The problem with the mini coupe is that it looks awkward next to the mini coooper. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Cooper S. lovely cars. It's the anti-RCZ. The 308 which the RCZ is based on wouldn't get a look in. This instantly makes the RCZ feel special.
