Have you checked the air filter? If it’s not been changed for some time it could be restricting airflow?

Basically it's like the turbo is trying to kick in but it's not if that makes sense do you mean the actual air filter or the air flow box

Could anyone with thp 156 rcz send me a picture of your engine bay and mine was in a crash and everything is back together but not sure if I'm missing something on bottom right corner from the air box which may be causing my car to lack of air flow as its never been running right since I've drove it

Yeah if you could send them Friday its the air box on the bottom right corner I think I'm missing something the box just seems to run off into thin air next to the head light maybe that could cause too much air flow I'm not sure thanks

Remember the airbox is actually at the back of the engine that bottom right is just the air intake.

Yeh it just goes nowhere just sucks air from the engine bay! Which when things get hot it’s not the best option for power.
I recently read an article about a group dyno run for the 308 GTI and the guys who had installed the cone type filters were actually losing power compared to the standard filter setup which is fed from a intake in the front grill.
