Yes, grasp it tightly and give it a good pull... ;)

Can confirm after changing both ours that you need to grip firmly and pull until it comes off in your hand.

Obviously, be mindful you don't pull it off too hard and make a mess of the roof.

Best to tug gently and increase gradually until you are confident.

Top Tip: Sometimes it helps to ask a lady friend to do the tugging as it may come off faster that way.

Can I just add that on no account should you twist it when pulling. This is unnecessary, doesn't aid the process and may result in damage to your knob.

Be nice to get an update from the Op as to how he's got on. Hopefully he hasn't run off scared.

:D

I think he might have been one of our European members (no pun intended) and probably hasn't got the slightest idea what we are talking about

If it's not come off by now maybe he should seek professional help?

If he's struggling, there are some useful videos online that may help.

Yep that's the right one but I bought mine from my Peugeot dealer and it worked out cheaper than that price if I remember around £35 mark they do black and red insert.

Ps an early shout that when I sell the magnetic in the next couple of months I'll be stripping goodies like the gear knob (black insert), K+N etc and offer them to members on here.
