RCZ rare machines on the road

Hi

I travelled from Telford in Shropshire back home to Northallerton in North Yorkshire via the Pennines on Sunday.

My son was spotting

We saw 27 common TT's

but in 189 miles we only saw 5 RCZ's (x2 black with silver rails, x1 silver, x1 Red, and x1 white)

could any of these have been YOU.?

On a recent weeks holiday in the Yorkshire Dales, I didn't see a single Z enroute, during or returning home.

We used to play yellow mini soft top on journeys when I was younger. You get one punch for each, so if you saw a yellow car, thats one punch, a yellow mini is two punches and a yellow mini soft top is three etc.

Used to play that as a kid

I think it will take ages to collect a page full thou.

Its a bit like plane spotting but better in my eyes

Plenty of Audi TT's tho it was actually scary how common they are :shock:

i do 560 miles every week going back and forward to work in the 9 months ive had her ive seen maybe 4 or five others

I've seen a few now and I've just hit 20k, but very few and far between!! I've not seen one on the road the same as Kitt yet though!

I buy an RCZ and low and behold their is a white one and another black one in my town of Northallerton now LOL

I pulled out of my office yesterday to see a very nice black R driving past with a red stripe running along the bottom of the door. We also have at least 2 in Market Harborough, both black with silver rails (soon to be 3 when I get mine!)

:shock: I went into Nantwich this morning and saw 2 black ones within the space of 5 mins. Same as mine but with silver wheels instead of black as I've had mine painted

On the continent the RCZ also remains a rare car.
On a trip of over 300 km to Lede in Belgium yesterday I only spotted one gray in the area of Berlare. He waved and I waved back!

It also passed its second APK (Dutch MOT) last week without problems and will turn 4 years on April 1 (this is not a joke :mrgreen: ) .

 

[RCZ-R]

Yesterday I spotted my first RCZ R on the road. In white.

I drove on a B road and spotted the RCZ coming in my direction. Although still far away I instantly got the impression, it must be an R coming my way! And I was right. The R has a slightly different stance. Beautiful looking car.
As it went by I looked in the mirror and saw the twin exhaust. And I noticed the sound! I just cant wait till mine arrives...

Can't believe this,,,,,,,

Came out the pub yesterday and low and behold I saw 14 RCZ's in a line.

Must be the most common car in the world at an RCZ meet lol
