RCZ R Interior Image with Large Keypad

Okay so I just took delivery of my new RCZ R and was surprised to see the standard facia inside the car. On an image of the interior I had downloaded there appeared to be a very large stereo facia which filled the standard stereo bay AND the storage compartment beneath (It has a keypad to the right of the central knob)

My question is, When does this facia get used? I had every option available and still the facia was different.

Colour me confused

I'm guessing from your description that you have the sat nav set up. The tray below giving access to the OBD port. You may have seen a continental interior image, I believe that they have a different stereo to our RT6. I still hate that cheap looking plate that they have pot riveted on

Thats what I though but...they had an original with sat nav and it had the same facia...so even the NG4 has the smaller facia.

Very weird, especially as I have seen a face lift right hand drive with the larger facia. I will see if I can find a link to an image

That would be good, as you are confusing me to exactly what you are referring to

Like me, you've got the RT6 sat nav, not the NG4.

I don't know, but I would guess, the publicity shots were take on development models, before they decided the UK spec. or European models. A bit frustrating, I know, but there it.

Having used both, I thought the NG4 was a bit nicer to use, but I think they are/have phased it out. I presume it's too expensive ('cos of the voice control) and - across the range - not enought people bought it to make it worthwhile supporting.

Things l like about the RT6 - much better iPod support &, with the latest updates, full UK postcode capability - although these things might be on the latest NG4s, too, I don't know.

In summary, what you have is the same as all us other R owners in the UK.

Be grateful, the demo model I saw on the Peugeot stand at Goodwood last year had many gaping holes in its dash/console!

How do you get the update? Would it already be on mine? Where do you input the postcode as I have used it once and found nowhere to put the postcode

You type it in the city/town field.

I've got RNEG2.80 software - long press on 'SETUP' takes you to the right menu. See page 256 in handbook and you will find your way to the right place.

Found it in the manual. Seems like it is from the NG4 system but is not offered in the UK. Seems stupid for their flagship model. I would have love to have the NG4 if I was able. Call to Peugeot on the cards
