Loving the pic Figo. Just as well you took a picture from outside Pitoddrie for your photoshop...chances are that there won't be a Newco Rangers or Ibrox in three years time after all... :lol:

I don't see how they can say that is what is will be worth in 3 years. Personally i don't think that will be true. They will not be mass produced so will be a rare commodity. They will be likely to keep their price better I would think but time will tell.

I'm also surprised with their 0-62 figure on their test. What Car found the normal 156 THP real 0-62 figure was actually better than Peugeot claimed so I would have thought the R would be better.

Same with the thp200.

There was a video uploaded in the rcz R thread that shows the r running well infront of a megane 265, not sure how these guys managed a 6.8....

That was just to highlight the grippitness of us aberdonians (I say us loosely as Im a Buckie boy originally) :beer:

I think there is as much chance of Rangers dissapearing as there is of Aberdeen winning another European Double :lol: *goes off to hide*

S***e driver maybe? if he didnt like the car that much short shifting would easily skew the 0-60 times in favour of other marques..

I found it more interesting that the RCZ-R was less than half a second slower round the track than a Nissan 370Z Nismo...a 340Bhp RWD coupe...

Spot on. Now put that time in comparison to the hothatch king, Megane 265 Cup which did a lap in 1.14, another 0.6 sec slower than the RCZ R. But on a hot summer day where the RCZ R fought in chilly conditions. I'm really tempted by the RCZ R.

the 265 has been king for long enough to be honest. I considerd one before buying another RCZ but even though it was a great drive - and I mean great - it never set my heart alight. The RCZ-R looks amazing, has the wow factor and is great to drive. It makes a fantastic case for itself!

when it comes to the megane sport you need to push the car to its limits to set its magic alive. It is a true drivers car with focus on pure driving sensation. When it comes to looks&shine the RCZ wins all day long.
I also own the predecessor of the 265 Cup and from the perspective of pure driving hardly any other car comes close. I mean in that price and class segment.
But I recall one week during which I had a test drive RCZ THP200. I had never before seen so many girls turning their heads on that RCZ. One doesn't get that attention in a megane, for sure

I think there's as much chance of Rangers/Newco winning ANYTHING in Europe as us winning ANOTHER European double...
