mmmmmmmmmmmmm not sure what number i should be using?

i have:
6111317B12
or
V7 580 679 80 - 10 9
or
13101500026
or
761910903 045

any thoughts

the 6111 seems to be etched on.

the V7 looks more to be cast

where as the 131 and 7619 are on the same plate area and hole punched on????

Contact EU Spares & ask them to check the listing all those OEM Nos are the heads that will fit your car If you post the stampings on your Engine we will get an idea of what Part is needed then crossmatch on the list

See Flanner's post I wouldn't be surprised if those heads fit all the variants across the PSA BMW platforms The listing did cover Peugeot Citroen Mini Opel & DS I checked again for compatibility & these Parts are listed for your car

ouch.... Main dealer has returned my email £3k incl vat, that was one expensive water pipe fault......
still waiting on fish bros.... as an option.....any one recommend a good engineering company that may be able to look at my existing head
obviously the head will need to be skimmed, but i am not 100% on the crack or not? been told its very difficult to detect... dont want to be throwing good money after bad. £3k for the new head plus ancillary parts and labor is nearly 30% of the cars worth????? :( :(

Yep that is a bummer there again good job it was the head & not the bottom end the only thing I could suggest is try a breakers yard for a scrapped one if they will split the Engine for you & get it reskimmed its a gamble but needs must if your desperate

Wowsers....so bespoke part then? I would as you say at that galactic price be getting an expert diagnosis of all possible damage done to your engine and then consider sending the Head to be reconditioned etc. If there is anymore damage identified it may be time to consider a recon engine from Peugeot UK which chap on here had supplied for around £6K. Depends on your budget and the car/mileage and condition....a keeper?

When I looked at the white one with the new engine in Chiswick I got a look at the price for the engine replacement and it was six thousand and something, for a full new engine replacement (they told me it was a new engine rather than me reading any paperwork to confirm this).

many thanks to one and all, 3k is better than 6k but still beyond me at his moment in time.
so the heads been sent to an engine specialist. they seem confident, but it will come down to the pressure testing.

i have my fingers crossed, also the repair and then rebuild can be done slow time so the expense will be spread....
Car has already been off the road for 4-5 months so another couple wont hurt.

on the plus side being off the road reduces the miles on the clock, and i got a new set of car mats for xmas,
that will now last a bit longer.... lol lol

heres hoping 2022 will be better than 2020 and 2021, can but hope.

:) :)

I’ve never considered selling it on till now so will have to look into realistic value, 26k complete engine, less turbo
original plan was for installation in my project car, (ended up with with a slightly different plan)
i suspect it will be considered expensive but very cheap compared to “new replacement cost”
