Instead of posting in the Newbie section with updates. I thought I would create a dedicated thread.

I plan on keeping this very OEM+ as I dont want to affect its future desirability when it becomes a valuable classic. ;)

So, the first mods were:
-Pipercross panel filter (I also removed the grey rubber fins from the air filter cover. I was told it gives a better noise. I'm not sure, but it wont hurt not having them in there.)
-Dark side repeaters
-New Centre caps
-I have updated the Firmware to 2.86 and UK Map to 2017.

Mods from the previous owner:
-Red rear calipers and Hubs.
-Liquid Black Alloy wheels.

I got some plastidip to do the badges. One thought crossed my mind. On my 4 Series, before I upgraded the exhaust tips, I sprayed the originals in plastidip, and It looked quite good. Im thinking of giving it a go on the R exhaust tips. :eusa-think:

I have also bought a foot rest to go in :)

No need to drill any holes, just screw it straight into the carpet and backing. Takes about 2 minutes and won't budge afterwards.

+1. That’s how I fitted mine & it’s not moved yet - 3 years on.

I fitted some fancy pedals to my 508 GT, the foot rest just screwed on too.

It’s no coincidence that right hand drive contains the word right instead of wrong :eusa-whistle: ;)

Not a bad idea if you use cruise control quite regularly.
