RCZ on order, how much longer............

Hi I've just found this forum while looking for info on the long (very) delivery time.

I ordered a 1.6 THP in Dolphin Blue on 22nd August, and was quoted a 20 week delivery. The order form says the "desired delivery date" is 18th November.

Does anyone know if this is a realistic date? Can I expect it sooner? How long can this go on? Will I get it before Christmas? Is there any way to check progress?

Can you help?

First of all, welcome to the forum :greetings-wavingblue:

Secondly, so many questions - so little time

You may get your RCZ in November but like anything, it could come forward or it could go back. There is always likely to be a waiting time for the RCZ as with most makes of cars now. Due to the drop in production, lead times are the same for Audi, BMW, Land Rover, Skoda even.

The thing is to be patient. Some of us having been waiting months for ours. I ordered in February, someone else ordered in December. The thing to remember is that the wait will be worth it

I ordered mine on the 16th August with a predicted delivery 24th November stated on the order form, for a gt200.

Sure I read somewhere they only produce 5 RCZs a day at the factory........

Looks like driving a mini is already affecting your judgement skills...
If you look at the figures in here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5748&p=94137&hilit=registered+uk+2013#p94137 you see that 5 per day can't be true.
Maybe that is for RCZ-R only.

Maybe had been the R right enough. It did read that very recently, so probably is the R.
