Hey all,

Was just wondering what the offset would be if using spacers.

I've read on here that the recommended size spacer to bring the wheels out right to the edge is 10mm. Original offset is ET27 so does that mean that the new offset size is ET17 ???

I know it sounds silly but just wanted to confirm if this was correct,ideally looking to buy a new set of rims with an offset of ET17 so I don't have to use spacers if my thinking is correct.

Have a look at RCZPerformance website as he has done all this to his RCZ.

Lots of other useful information on there too.

That's where I got the recommendation on spacers from,just wanted to check what offset the spacers make it.

If you keep the new rims the same width as the 'original' than your calculation ET27 - 10 = ET17.
But if your new wheels are wider you need to calculate the new width of the wheels.

IWhen I changed my wheels I kept the original offset but used wider wheels :

* 9" in the front
* 9,5" in the rear

Very nice. Any scrubbing at all with the 9.5s? Or plenty of space back there?

Could I also ask which springs you have (or whether they are coilovers).

Thanks, Ben

It's no problem at all to mount 9,5" width wheels in the rear.

It's just the orginal suspensoin, I didnt' change anything. But the R is a little bit lower then the other RCZ's and putting on widther wheels also drops the car a little bit.
