I’ve received the DPF warning light once, I got told to use premium diesel more often. It seems to work so far.
But I’m also considering chiptuning my RCZ hdi. When I asked for a quotation they also recommended to turn off my EGR valve to prevent future problems with a possible clogged engine/ DPF warning light. By capping the EGR valve and mapping it off by computer.
I’ve asked this question on other car pages as well and I’m getting mixed reactions. Anyone got experience/recommendations in switching off the EGR valve yes or no?
