RCZ 156 Turbo Glowing red

Hi all is it normal for the turbo to glow red after only a 2 mile journey. Does the main cooling fan cool the turbo or is the turbo water cooling pump the only thing. I am not driving it until I get an a definate answer to the glowing red hot Turbo problem if it is a problem. Also the main cooling fan used to be on after I switch car off but not now I dont hear the fan at all

I think we can say with much certainty that a turbo that is glowing red at any time is not a good sign!

Cooling issues aka Turbo pump etc also don't rule out an engine running too weak ?
