Hello All

I've just been out and bought myself a 61 plate RCZ. Never really intended or actually thought I would ever buy something like this to be honest. I'm 53 and some may say its mid life crisis, however with my kids grown up and own their own cars my wife and I thought it was not to be missed. I currently have a DS3 so not really moving from too large a car to this one, however he obvious is that I old fit someone in the DS3.

I'm excited and can't wait to pick it up. It's brilliant white, with black roof and silver edges to the roof. Black alloys.
Has leather trim.

Is ther any special cleaning for leather or the silver edging on the roof.

I hope I've mad a good decision, however if I haven't hard luck. :)

Good Day and welcome.

Don't be concerned about your age. I am 66 and my wife 68, bought a new 2.0HDI Redcarbon 2.5 months ago and loving it. Had new Porsche 911 before that. Age is just a number. Enjoy your car.

Regards

I'm 56 and picking up a 63 plate GT200 in Moroccan Red on Tuesday. I am as excited as a 5 year old at his birthday party!
Life is for living, whatever your age.

Hey geordielad,
I bought mine as a 50th present to myself, you will not be disappointed!
Enjoy every minute and be prepared for some looks from total strangers. I once had a man come right up close to the back bumper just to see what I was driving, he didnt realise I was in the car at the time, the look on his face was priceless, I hope he approved.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Oh I'm excited alright but it was a car I never thought I would own to be honest. The one I've bought it the 1.6 THP GT 165 BHP on a 61 plate from a guy I know has looked after it etc. It's white in colour, black roof, silver door edges and black mirrors black wheels.
If I'm honest it's got leather seats which I personally wouldn't have picked as I don't know how to look after them really.

Anyways thanks again, I appreciate your comments

Well
I've picked it up from the garage and I must say........what a head turner. I can only imagine some of the critics and negative reviewers are either jealous or don't have a clue. It's like anything else in life, some things suit some, some things don't. I can honestly say I think this suits me :)

Just need to know how to care and lean the leather interior and try keep a glass look gloss finish roof.

Really appreciate everyone's comments. Like I say I was a little concerned after leaving my deposit but I must say on first appearance and drive.......I'm well happy

:)

Congratulations and welcome. Enjoy the new car :greetings-wavingblue:
Have a search on here for leather cleaning tips, there is plenty of ideas and suggestions. In relation to the roof rails, I give them a polish with some super resin car polish. Brings out a great shine to the rails.
