Hello folk

Am I safe in assuming we use R134a type gas for our air con units? Mine is a 63 REG RCZ Magentic 156 petrol, and I've got an appt tomoz to get an air con health check. I've never had it checked in the near-nine years I've owned it.

Thanks in advance!

Yes it's the cheaper R134a gas.

I've recently had mine done.

Thanks Kerr, £34.95 for the inspection, and £50 for the purge & refill of the R134A gas at my local Halfords. Good deal I believe.
I would check the Halfords website, as I had the diagnostic last week and it is currently free (reduced from £35 to £0). I dont mean the free health check either.
